Encaustic is the ancient artform of painting with melted beeswax which has been mixed with damar resin(tree sap) to raise the melting temperature.

These examples of my work are 100% beeswax/damar resin and pigment. There is not 'base' such as wood or ceramic.

Treat these as you would glassware.
