This weaving incorporates materials from the #hopeandhealingcanada project, a decolonization initiative exhibited at over 180 Canadian sites including galleries, museums, former residential schools and other public spaces. the crochet, knit and woven yarns naturally faded in sunlight create beautiful gradients when unraveled and carries the stories of the communities then woven into this weaving.
